Urban Decay Naked Balms

More shades coming up in the Urban Decay Beauty Balm stable with Naked Bronzing and Naked Illuminating due to drop on 1st June. What I like about Urban Decay Naked Skin Beauty Balm is that it contains SPF20 and the Bronzing is a particulary natural shade. Designed to be like skin care, Urban Decay Naked Skin Beauty Balm contains amino acids and vitamins to protect and hydrate the skin. This means you don’t need to pile on layer after layer because one product will do several jobs; it’s not called a beauty balm (BB) for nothing, although the familiar BB isn’t anywhere on the packaging. Urban Decay are preferring to use the full beauty balm title.

From the swatch you can see that they both look quite yellow tones..this mellows down to a warming tone when it’s blended properly – I’ve swatched at intensity so you can see the product properly. The Illuminating version is actually very light indeed and lifts tone fractionally, but it’s more of a skin brightening option than anything (late night anyone?), while the Bronzing gives a deeper warmth. If you’re very pale skinned, I think that Bronzing will be too dark, and it’s not a one-shade suits all product.

Look out for Urban Decay Naked Skin Beauty Balm in new shades from 1st June.
