Urban Decay Naked Palette: Swatched

Ok, well now you will see the reason that I don’t swatch very often – just not that good with a camera! But you will be able to see how shimmery some of the shades come up and as I swatched, I found the formulas really soft and easy to work with. If anything, they’re slightly on the too soft side because there was a small amount of drop.

The palette itself in presentation is actually a bit disappointing. From the promo pics it looks really lush and plush, but in reality it doesn’t even close flush. It feels lightweight and already has creasing to the inner paper covering. That said, the colours are amazing…everything you could ever want – and then some – for a nude look, and enough decent shimmer to take it from day to evening in a nano-swish of a brush.

So, running from palest to darkest we have: Virgin, Sin, Naked, Sidecar, Buck, Half Baked, Smog, DarkHorse, Toasted, Hustle Creep and Gunmetal, and a dual end 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in blackest Zero and a rusty brown shade, Whiskey. The two shades that I know I will be wearing most often are Sidecar and Smog – so shimmery, without being glittery, and I’ll be using them both with matte Naked as a base.
