I said yesterday I would do some daylight swatches as yesterday the conditions were so gloomy and I think these swatches give a better accuracy of the palette.
Obviously now they’re a little bit swatched up so apologies that it isn’t pristine.
First six shades.
And, second six. All with one stroke of a brush. Hope that helps with the ‘do I need it’ decision making!

Yes…yes I do. This looks gorgeous! I don’t own any of the Naked palettes, so I’m looking forward to having a good comparing session!
Hmmmm…They look really rosy/heathery in the pan but just boring old brown on your skin. It is a big “do I need it” perhaps one of the earlier ones might suit better.
These do look good but for some reason they don’t scream “must have” to me. I don’t own any UD either, for some weird reason I just can’t seem to get into these palettes but of the 3 I do think this one would probably “talk” to me more.
I must have this! I have one but to be honest never really use the more goldish colours because I don’t feel like they suit my skintone. I though naked 2 was too similar but this could be the answer. I like a nice pinky neutral shimmer colour on my lid and a brown in the crease for everyday so it looks ideal!
hmmmm, I’m not blown away, which is good! I have all the Naked palettes (and adore them!) and I really don’t need more eyeshadow haha! Thank you for the swatches!

Looks like a possibility, but I want to see it first. When I spoke to the lady on my local UD counter, she said it was partly aimed at the demographic that loved Basics, but were less keen on the other two because there was too much sparkle and glitter. Out of interest, how does it compare shade wise with the Clairins Essentials one?

How many more neutral eyeshadow shades can Urban Decay create?! Having said that I’d still buy this!!
I think I will be getting this, as I have the other palettes so it would be a shame not to get this one.
I want it, I have the others and am looking forward to getting this.
