I’ve been dying to get my hands on the new Urban Decay Moondust Shadow – they’re off the scale glimmery and absolute beauty heaven for anyone who loves their eyes to have plenty of impact. In fact, there is masses of new stuff from Urban Decay but I think they’ve sent out products en masse, so there will be plenty of posts about the newness which means that I’m just going to take my time on reviewing them. But I couldn’t wait for these!

As far as delivery goes, these over-deliver! There is so much shimmer that you can use a wash or go the full dazzle by building the shades. I went the full dazzle yesterday daytime (felt a bit self-conscious, I must admit!) with Ether. On the swatch, from bottom to top is: Scorpio, described as black but looks dirty green to me, with gold, Ether, light purple with pink and blue shimmer, Cosmic, a metallic white shade with iridescent shimmer and my favourite, Solstice that does a kind of beetle-back thing by changing colour depending on angles and light. It’s pink, green and every other colour you can think of, depending – Urban Decay call this colour movement ‘shift’.

I’ve shot these under a light to bring out the sparkles (thank goodness for a camera that can actually capture them now) so you can see them properly.

I don’t have an exact date for the launch of the new Urban Decay Moondust Shadow – I’m guessing beginning February though. I’ll update this post as soon as I have launch date news.
