Two Products I’m Loving This Week

Honestly, I don’t think I could have got through this week without Urban Decay’s All Nighter Long Lasting Makeup Setting Spray, £19, which fixes make-up so it does not move from your face till you have to fight it off with your cleanser at night. Long days and evening events with no time to get home and change means that make-up has to last, and it certainly does with this spray! The only thing I would say about it is that I can’t use it too often otherwise my skin gets a little bit congested; in fact, I’m at that point now because I’ve used it five days in a row, but without it I’d have had to keep on touching up in various loos (preference is Jaeger on Regent Street; a very posh stop with good mirrors!).

The other product that has been brilliant is Kerastase Masque Age Recharge which has been a long time favourite that got forgotten for a while. It just puts your hair back into great condition with the minimum of fuss, and gives it that silky, separated feel that you can usually only get from the hairdresser. It’s expensive at £20 or so but you don’t really need much so it’s a good investment for horrible hair day rescue!

Always wanted to try the setting spray but it’s a bit expensive. Have you tried the ELF version?

Please check out my blog if you have the time 🙂

  2. Belle, i definitely recommend getting this product even if you think its slightly expensive! only a couple of sprays are needed at a time so it lasts. Plus this product is amazing, i never go out with out- we even have a bottle in the office for those work drinks hehe

    Nice blog too 🙂

  3. I have been wanting to try that setting spray- thanx for letting us know about how it’s a pain to take off because I never usually hear that- I actually think that just may be a good thing though! I know revlon colorstay foundation is the same way but I love it because it will stay put!

  4. What Sadie Did

I love Kerastase and am thinking of trying one of their treatments, thanks for the recommendation 🙂

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I’ve seen the UD All Nighter spray but haven’t tried it. Sounds great!

  6. Right, I am clearly going to have to invest in the spray to help me retain composure despite sitting at my desk for long days with my head in my hands…

    Thanks for the tip

Can I ask what type of skin you have? I’m wary of getting a break out but at the same type- super fed up of having no make up left on my face at 3pm!

  8. Hi Morethan – my skin is pretty normal; I don’t have breakouts but my skin definitely doesn’t like it if I use it too often.. so I would say it’s more for special nights out or if your make up really, really has to last the day rather than very regular use.

  9. I really wanna try the setting sprays i just have to actually order them but i keep getting distracted haha xD
