Trish McEvoy Eye Base Essentials: Pretty darn impressive

I was recently given a tiny try-me size of Trish McEvoy’s Eye Base Essential in Bare and initially took it to be a standard concealer. I don’t have a lot of luck with concealers – they always seem to make things look worse rather than better, and particularly drying in that the formulations exacerbate any undereye lines and wrinkles. So, often I just don’t even bother trying. Having got a naturally olive complexion, my dark circles are quite obvious and I’ve learned to live with them. However, Eye Base Concealer has proved to be the answer to every concealing prayer I have ever offered up! It’s waterproof and crease resistant and is designed to be used over the entire eyelid to lighten and brighten. It absolutely does do this, but when it comes to brightening and evening out the skin tone under the eyes, it is really second to none. It’s an iconic Trish product but it’s new to me and the second my tiny sample looks like it might run out, I’ll be off to buy the full size. And, I don’t say that very often!
