Whatever you think of her unmade bed, Tracy Emin is totally on it with her limited edition lavender soap for Art Against Knives. The soap was part of the Liberty ‘National Treasures’ collection so is a limited edition run of 3500. Each soap comes in Emin designed paper featuring a poem. I think it is really rather beautiful because it is so simple. And, so is her reason for supporting AAK, ‘I’m against people stabbing each other.’ Quite so. It now appears to be sold out and I’m annoyed with myself for not getting one.

This looks lovely but must say, the lavendar aspect puts me off a smidge.
I love her line drawings which are beautifully sparse, love the idea of this hugely – I would want one too.
