Too Faced Hangover Primer

It’s taken me ages to test this product out – I’ve had Too Faced Hangover Primer hanging around for several weeks, but finally I’ve cracked it open and am full of regret that I didn’t do it sooner!

I’m not a regular primer user other than on my eye lids, so I never get used to a primer ‘look’ as such. So, I could see straight away that it made a difference in terms of skin smoothness. I used it under a very light foundation base (Perricone’s No Foundation Foundation) so it had extra work to do, and there is no doubt that my skin looks better for an undercoat of Too Faced Hangover Primer that it does without it.

As for the claims to promote radiance, promote elasticity, they’re harder to quantify, but it is definitely hydrating without being oily. In fact, there is no silicone in this so you don’t get that slippy feel, but skin does feel silkier. Too Faced Hangover Primer kept my foundation going (I don’t tend to lose it all that easily to be fair) all day and this product has been slipped into the ‘keep’ drawer.

What happens isn’t dramatic, but it’s enough to physically notice and I liked the effect. You can find it HERE for £27.

  1. I LOVE this primer too- like you, I don’t usually bother with one but couldn’t resist it when I went to Sephora. I did a review on it too, I like the pump too so you don’t get too much product x

  2. I really really want to try this primer! But can’t justify spending almost 30 pound on one!

I love this primer. It’s great for faking plump glowy skin when you need a bit of extra hydration. I can see the effects particularly around my eyes, and the rest of my face can get a bit shiny sometimes, so I stick to applying it under the eyes at the moment. I’m not sure I notice an improvement in longevity. It also feels lovely and refreshing to apply (I’m not a big fan of the silicone feeling)

  4. That sounds amazing! I didn’t actually know we could get Too Faced products over here, I thought it was American so I’m pleasantly surprised, thanks for sharing 🙂 x

I’ve been using Too Faces primer for over a year now. Sometimes I cheat and use different products but I always come back to Too Faced
