[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I tend not to use blurring products because I’m so fussy about what my skin feels like – I don’t like anything that feels weighty on it. However, e.l.f., who never seem to stop coming up with innovation and new formulas, gives us Suntouchable, a blend of SPF30 and a priming blur element. For me, I’d wear it as is with maybe just a touch of CHANEL Water Tint or days when I’ve applied self-tan but if you do like something to grip your base as well, this does triple duty.

e.l.f. Suntouchable SPF + Blurring Primer Review

The texture of e.l.f. Suntouchable SPF +Blurring Primer is weird – it feels like an oily gel but trust me, that soon settles to something that feels more unobtrusive and not in the least oily. There’s a little bit of blur going on – it’s not at the level of their best-selling Pore Putty but it just gives a small element of me-on-a-good-day across the complexion. It’s not scented.

e.l.f. Suntouchable SPF + Blurring Primer Review

I’ve given it a test under foundation (randomly, Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Weightless SPF15) and there’s no interaction or bobbling up so if you do like a daily foundation, it’s a good option rather than layering your SPF and primer. That said, it’s clearly marked on the label that it gives sun protection, blurring and water resistance for 80 minutes so it’s more suitable for incidental sun than the beach (although, who wears foundation to the beach?!) –  I think it’s a be-sensible approach for the user because all the information you need is there. I wish other SPFs would give the longevity time – maybe some do and I haven’t noticed – but I’m impressed to see it so clearly laid out.

The formula highlights are chemical SPF30, aloe and meadowfoam seed and it’s £14 HERE.
