TKMaxx Brilliant Christmas Buys #sp
I’ve done a lot of shopping this year in TKMaxx and especially in the run up to Christmas where I’ve been unusually organised this time! I’ve bought all sorts of things from soaps to cashmere to underwear and pyjamas, so gifting wise, I’m genuinely almost done! I think, aside from cashmere, because that’s definitely a bit of an addiction for me, the thing I’m most pleased with is a little square frying pan so your fried egg is the same size and shape as your toast. It’s part of Mr BBB’s present! Who even knew?
As you’ll realise, a lot of TKMaxx stock is transient – once it’s gone, it’s gone and I’ve found all sorts of brands cropping up. I’ve gone through their website very thoroughly to come up with some fashion and beauty gifting ideas, so here we go!
Nails Inc Alexa Edit £24.99 (was £44.99) in the main picture. All the glitters and shimmers with a gold star effect top coat, a red heart top coat, a holographic silver, and pale blue, navy blue and pale pink. Basically, every trend in one box. It’s HERE.
My next pick is a NARS one – a double eye shadow in Underworld £9.99 (usually £25). This is a dark, steely blue with a silver grey companion; it’s one of the most wearable blues because of its greyish undertones that stops it being over-bright despite the high pigment. It’s HERE. There are a few NARS bits and bobs so definitely worth doing a search on the TKMaxx site.
This is a good opportunity to discover a premium skin care set for half the price (it’s £24.99 as opposed to the usual price of £48). There’s a cleansing foam, a skin softener and a mattifying moisturiser. It’s HERE.
I know that Real Techiques Brushes don’t need any introduction, but it’s very nice to find them on a price drop. There aren’t many of these sets left now so if you’re going, go now! The set is £16.99 instead of £20.99 HERE.
If you know someone who loves their labels and wears them loud and proud, the cashmere blend Moschino Beanie is £19.99 instead of £36, HERE.
TKMaxx always has a good selection of gloves – I love these zebra effect suede gloves to brighten up a standard black winter coat. They’re £19.99 from £49.99 (I know!) HERE.
I think this is my most bargainous find! It’s faux, of course, but this kind of shaggy gilet is so glamorous with jeans and trainers or boots. I don’t see how I’m not going to be able to buy one! It’s reduced from £119.95 to £24.99 HERE.
So, actually, the gilet isn’t my most bargainous find – I seriously didn’t expect to come across this. Because things sell out so fast on the TKMaxx site, this is being written in real time so I’m making the discoveries as I go along. This Coach Black Leather Pea Coat is £249.99 – the original price was £1,040.00. Gulp. It’s HERE.
I have bought a lot of cashmere from TKMaxx – when I went to New York last December with for my birthday with my sister, daughter and a friend, I bought them each one of these in different colours to wear for the notorious New York freeze. At £39.99 each, I think they’re amazing. I always, always upsize with cashmere because it can be a bit skimpy on sizing – there are L and XL left in this and I bought L all round last year. They’re HERE.
