Tipsy Social Blah Blah

Yes, you read it right! The new fragrance from Smell Bent is Tipsy Social Blah Blah – an amazing and tantalizing name for an amazing and tantalizing fragrance.

Imagine a night out with your best girlfriends, a cocktail of  plum, rose and cedarwood – oh, and a dash of Merlot – all blended into a riot of fragrant notes with an edge of cocktails. In that imagining you have Tipsy Social Blah Blah. It’s inspired by the fun of a girls’ night out – when you’ve just edged over to that not-quite-drunk-but-definitely-feeling-it moment, where your inhibitions are less and your heels are more. Your mascara might just be begininning to smudge, everything is funny and you might be prepared to take a place at the Karaoke bar!

What I love about this brand is that creator of Smell Bent, Brent Leonisio, is entirely self taught, so he has no pretentions and makes fragrances that he loves and that are a bit silly but at the same time, smell good.  I’m often so mystified by the fragrance world, but Smell Bent is refreshingly straightforward. Brent likes happy scents. Good, because so do I. Well, who doesn’t, now I think about it? Self-taught fragrancers tend to be very free with their thinking around perfume and notes – less keen to impress peers and more keen to impress consumers; I always take note of self-taught perfumers.

Anyway, if you’re in the mood for a little Tipsy Social Blah Blah, it’s £45 HERE.

Love it, in the perfume world of seriousness it’s great to see some tongue in cheek that smells good too.
