The Perfume Society Les Infusions de Prada

Wow! The The Perfume Society Les Infusions de Prada box certainly tapped into my love of all things small! Six little bottles nestled in straw and wrapped in tissue – it’s practically like opening a box of freshly hatched chicks!

If you’re already a Perfume Society member, then the box is £30, if not, it’s £36. I’m not that familiar with the Prada fragrance range (far more familiar with a Prada handbag to be honest!) so it’s been something of an education to make my way through each one. These are rather more generous samples than fragrance brands often provide – at 8ml it’s a decent amount for keeping in your bag and really getting to know the perfume better.

The fragrances you will receive are Iris, Iris Cedre, Fleur d’Oranger, Amande, Oeillet and Vetiver. Amande has turned out to be my favourite – it’s sweet, light and fresh at the same time. I love that you also get a book of tapers so you can really sit down and be the connoissuer as well as having plenty to keep in your bag for on the go fragrance adventures. Ha! I can’t imagine what the counters do with someone that brings their own tapers! It must bemuse them.

So, in all, you get 48ml of Prada fragrance which definitely makes the £30/£36 price tag less of a sting. Plus, they’re sweet and tiny bottles. *sighs*.

Thank you for writing about this. Iris is a favourite of mine and I have been meaning to test the others so I’ve indulged and purchased this set. QVC have a L’Occitane 4 x7.5 ml Piece Collection de Grasse Fragrances at £25 plus £3.95 p&p, the equivalent of £0.96 per ml. The Prada works out cheaper at £0.75 per ml
