This is definitely a handy product for anyone who gets an oily T zone or shine during the day. I know there are so many mattifiers on the market but it’s more unusual to find one in a compact and easier I think than carrying a tube around.
The Body Shop InstamatteI don’t have oily skin or shine so I can only give you top line info on it (I’m sure I don’t need to say that if you have active blemishes, do ensure that you give the sponge a good wash – it’s the one downside to a compact). Although the mattifier looks white in the compact, it is in fact clear when you put it on your face. It feels pretty comfortable (I can definitely feel an initial silicone slip that wears off to feeling more matte and natural) but I preferred to buff it in a bit with the sponge.
The Body Shop Instamatte promises 8 hours of oil control – I can’t put it through that test, but if you’ve used it, perhaps you could feed back in comments. It’s £12 HERE.
