The Body Shop Cool Daisy Collection

[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad/prioradrelationship] There have been several comparisons to Marc Jacobs Daisy fragrance when it comes to this new collection from The Body Shop. In honesty, I’ve forgotten what MJ Daisy smells like but I’m not going to argue! It’s a sweet, light and very fresh scent – hard to say the notes as daisies don’t have a scent but I feel like I’m getting rosy wafts from it.

I’m sure everyone knows the body yoghurt texture – a cool feel, loose body hydrator that’s perfect for light moisturising when you don’t want that coated skin feel. I think it’s one of The Body Shop’s best formulas actually – there’s enough liquidity to it that it feels refreshing but still has decent moisturising properties.

The easy win is the shower gel and the more I am re-sniffing while I write the more I am getting proper perfume vibes from this collection. I mean if you know and like MJ Daisy, I’d really suggest that you have a smell of Cool Daisy to see if indeed it does compare. I have a sample of MJ Daisy Sunshine which has a solar accent but there is a familiarity in the background for sure.

There are lots of mists that don’t feel in the least hydrating but Cool Daisy Hydrating Body Mist actually does leave a very light hydrating film. I think I’d more use this as a non-sticky cooling spritz that doesn’t dry the skin rather than a moisturising mist but I am very easily in the hot day zone spritzing this down my front or on my legs just to feel the momentary relief. Price wise, the Yoghurt is £11, the Shower Gel is £6.50 and the Spritz is also £10. You can find everything HERE, non-affiliate HERE.
