Just have to do one final post of the day to say a very heartfelt thank you to everyone who responded to the Sticks & Stones post, both on BBB and Twitter. I feel like the luckiest blogger in the world to have such supportive blog friends both known and unknown; from the anon reader who had never commented before to the lovely lady who put her dinner on hold to be angry on my behalf. Oh my I skipped a few days reading blogs and just catching up now and read a few of your past posts – wowsie. I had to leave a comment to say to others if you can’t say anything nice don’t say anything at all. I never understood why on the web some people can get all het up and downright nasty its so unnecessary

There are some frightful trolls out there in cyberspace, who behave no better than playground bullies. Ignore them please! You’ve helped me make some terrific cosmetic purchasing decisions, so keep up the good work and don’t let the trolls get you down.

Really seems that some people are just full of hate and scour the web finding outlets to express it. It’s why I don’t have comments at all on my sites.
My sympathy – very hard to cope with horrible stuff like that – hangs around souring the day.

Just wanted to send some love from the United States! I absolutely love your blog, especially the personal touches you put on it.
Not pulling punches in articles like Sticks and Stones or Loose Cannons show that you aren’t spinning things and aren’t afraid to tell how you really feel. It makes me trust your other reviews even more because they aren’t just copied and pasted from a press release.

I’m just starting out – commenting and blogging – and to be honest it terrifies me; my skin doesn’t feel thick enough to cope with the abuse you got. But the comments you received and the support you clearly have in spades have bolstered me, so thank you for making me a little bit braver and taking the leap.
