Usually I don’t even take samples of supplements because I just don’t have the staying power needed to see if they actually work. Often the results are really so vague that it’s almost impossible to tell if it’s done anything at all. So this one-hit wonder is perfect for re-energising someone like me with a brain like a sieve. Thalgo say it’s ‘a 100% natural marine plasma (that) contains all the essential micro-nutrients necessary for the physiological elimination and regeneration activities of cells contributing to a complete and lasting return to form.’ Given that one of my bug-bears in life is that I never have enough energy to do absolutely everything I want to do, it’s ideal really because you only take them as and when you feel you need to and you don’t have to have them all the time.. although it would probably be better if you took them regularly.
I’ve taken several of the ampoules – you break off the end and slug it back – and think they have indeed given me a boost when I’ve needed it. I will say though, that it is like drinking neat sea water and quite vile. Stand by the sink, just in case. They work out at about £1 each but you buy in packs of 20.
