As if more proof were needed that textured nail wraps are the strongest emerging nail trend, the BeautyUK show in Birmingham this weekend showcased more (I showed some coming for Autumn from L’Oreal last week). I’ve had a little scout about on the internet and while it is still very much an emerging trend I did find a few sets, the best are the ones above (from Nail Ease) that make nails look very jewelly and blingy and we can stop pretending that glitter nail polish creates an actual jewelled nail look.

i love nail wraps because they are so simple to achieve a great nail design and you dont have to wait for them to dry. I particularly like the black design with the rhinestones on 🙂
Thanks for sharing~x -
Love that first one! I’m actually yet to try nail wraps. I’m a bit of a biter and even when I do grow my nails they never look great. I think nail wraps would just accentuate that fact!

Aargh; the idea of texture on nails really freaks me out, though the caviar manicure trend is far more upsetting.
I can’t imagine it would be practical for those that do, but if you work in an industry where you touch people, please consider hypersensitive people like me before you indulge, bleurgh!
