Wow..we have some home treats in store from Ted Baker with their new home fragrancing arm, Residence. It’s really high time that things got shaken up a little with home fragrancing, but I have to admit I didn’t think it would be Ted Baker doing it! The premise of Ted Baker Residence is to bring ‘world’ scents to our homes. I know it’s a marketing story, but nonetheless, Miami, above, is described as having notes of star apple and passion fruit. Erm, yes please!
It’s green tea and bamboo for Tokyo, which is a bit predictable I guess, but oh, the packaging!
And, Sydney gets ocean air and salted notes, which sounds absolutely lovely. I’m going to get my hands on some of these and properly experience them but for now, you can find them at John Lewis in the next week or so. Each range (there are six: Athens, New York, London, Sydney, Tokyo and Miami) has either a candle or a reed diffuser. Candles will be £28 and reeds will be £35.
