[affiliate/sample] I’m swinging completely the other way from the £3.50 Essence mascara of my previous post straight into the luxury pricing of Surratt’s new Prismatique Eyes at £54 each. Gulp.

Surratt Prismatique Eyes

They’re little cubes containing a matte creme shadow and a chromatic top veil which swing out to reveal both shades. It is fiddly and I can’t help thinking much of what you’re paying for is this complicated componentry but if you like a tidy looking make up item, this is it.

The matte creme is simply the smoothest I’ve ever used – it’s one stroke of a brush across the lid for complete delivery. The chrome colours are a bit droppy so ensure that you have a tissue under your eye to catch any stray shimmers.

There are five shade options – all the mattes look quite muted and architectural in colour while the chrome is somewhat shade-shifty in the palette.

You can wear them either/or and obviously as they’re intended – both together. It’s amazing how the chrome top coat springs the matte into life – you’ll see in the swatches. I’ve done side by side and then another with the top coat over the matte so you can see exactly what happens.

Obviously it’s quite a dark day today so I’ve gone for the best light I can find to show these – hence the kitchen floor in the background! From bottom to top: Visual Eyes, Style Eyes, Glamour Eyes, Neutral Eyes and Mesmer Eyes.

So, here’s what happens! I think it’s pretty impressive – as well as the fact that you have three options within one product. From bottom to top: Visual Eyes, Glamour Eyes, Mesmer Eyes, Neutral Eyes and Style Eyes. They’re HERE, non affiliate HERE.
