I wondered whether CK One Summer even has a legitmate place on the blog given that I haven’t smelled it, don’t know the notes and haven’t a clue about the composition. But, what attracted me to this fragrance is the bottle. I love it. Packaging is such a strong part of the sell and this one is spot on for grabability – if I saw it in store I would reach out and grab me one. Everything about it sings summer; bright, bold, a little bit hazy and altogether channeling a happy, vibrant moment.
I spotted these beautiful glycerine soaps over on Canadian site, www.joefresh.com. The bath and body products are all simply packaged, using a single shot of colour to bring them to life. It’s just soap, but so perfectly executed I instantly want them all.
I was lucky enough to have a manicure using Essie shade Braziliant, from the summer collection, Braziliant, and I haven’t stopped thinking about the colour ever since. It’s a shimmering orange that stops short of being neon but still packs a punch of colour that is absolutely gorgeous. The shimmer is interesting because it has a nuance of pink running through it.
