Stila Stay All Day 10-In-1 Beauty Balm

If you like your BBs light, then this one is a winner. It is slightly too little coverage for my personal preference but the formula is lovely and sheer. With a glut of BBs not ticking all the required boxes this one has a lot of skincare built into the formula. With pea and bamboo extracts, plus Tripeptide-37, moisturiser and blemish concealing microspheres, it also claims to diminish pore size and provide oil and blemish control as well as control redness. While I’m not quite sure what all these additions (such as Tripeptide-37) specifically target at this stage, the blend of coverage plus decent skincare all sounds rather impressive. The one thing missing is SPF. So, you decide.. is it, or isn’t it? What I can tell you is that it has sold out online at Stila.com, and is limited availability in the UK at Harvey Nichols and ASOS. It costs £26 and is available now.

  1. Interesting! I don’t know that I’d purchase it since it doesn’t have an SPF, but I would sample it if I had the opportunity.

Why do relatively so few foundations/balms/moisturisers contain no SPF? I bought dermalogica’s solar defender booster which you can use neat for full SPF30 or mix into existing products for around SPF20 protection.

yep the no spf is definitely a turn off…
