I’ve been trying out quite a few new hair products recently – quite unusual for me because I’m not that interested in hair stuff. But, I’ve been changing my regular routine up and found some gems.
First up is HER 300 Trecento Hair Treatment. This is a pre-wash treatment; you apply it damp hair, leave in for five minutes, wash out and then carry on as normal. It would be SO much better if you could apply it to dry hair because it’s a lot of jumping in and out of the shower especially if you are doing a hair mask as well. It makes washing your hair a whole other thing. However, after following instructions I think I did see a more conditioned result at the end of the process. It contains ginseng, coffee and papyrus as well as amino acids to boost body, shine and smoothness. I wasn’t wowed but I’ll definitely use it again if my hair needs a little oomph. It’s £25 HERE.
Next up, Mystic Diamond Serum. This is a blend of argan oil and diamond powder; you can guess which product is doing all the work! We don’t have this readily available in the UK yet (I did manage to find it HERE for £14.99), but it is on it’s way. The serum is a lovely one but I can’t say it out-performs every other serum I’ve ever tried but definitely ticks the nourishing and shine enhancing boxes. It will be interesting to see how it does in the UK market. I’m not swayed by the diamond claim but certainly, argan in any form is brilliant for my hair.
Ogario Restore and Shine Hair Masque. Of the three new products I’ve tried, this is my favourite. It’s a lovely, nourishing mask containing sage and lavender (but all I could smell was oranges – not complaining), a protein formula and avocado oil that I left on my hair for ten minutes. It did feel smoother and softer afterwards – I added more to the very ends of my hair which are a bit dry and it definitely made a difference in helping them look and feel more moisturised. It’s a bit on the pricy side so don’t be tempted to use too much – you really don’t need a lot – at £26.50 HERE.
