Riko Mules

Okay, so I forgot Accessory Wednesday so I’ve temporarily moved to Accessory Friday! This isn’t my usual kind of AW post because the Sophia Webster Riko Mules are off-the-scale expensive, but you know when you see something and think, YES! I’m absolutely sure we’ll see high street versions of this come out for spring, but for now, it’s just a bit of a shoe-lust moment.

Riko NAP

There’s a different variant (above) on Net-A-Porter. I think we’re going to see these absolutely everywhere!

Okay, now for the bad news. The top pair at Selfridges are £505, and the bottom pair at Net-A-Porter are £495. I don’t know how to make them seem like a bargain because they’re absolutely not..the Sophia Webster Riko Mules are pure luxury (and fantasty, for me, anyway!). If you have won the lottery recently, the Selfridges pair are HERE and the NAP variants are HERE.

Bib Collar

On the more affordable front, one of my good friends gave me this collar for Christmas – it’s genius! Actually, not maybe for winter when you want all the shirt and all the sweater you can get to beat the cold, but personally, I don’t like really crisp cotton shirts. They’re always untucking for a start, the sleeves are all a bit too long, they feel bulky and they’re generally not that comfortable to wear. But I do like the collar bit. And this is exactly that.. just the collar bit so it looks really good without any of the usual shirt niggles. Once you get used to wearing it, it just feels completely normal. I like the denim version, which I have, so much that I’m buying the white version too. That way, come spring and summer I can wear my sweatshirts and lighter jumpers without boiling as well. The collar is a snip at £10 HERE.
