Smell Bent Fragrance

I’m all for quirky fragrances – look at how successful Demeter has been with their strange concoctions (Pizza perfume, anyone?) and although Smell Bent isn’t a new brand, it’s new to the UK. First up is St. Tropez Dispenser – I LOVE this idea – a blend of Jasmine absolute, fresh coconut and aloe vera with a downwind of musk; I’m almost on that luxury yacht with the sun searing from the sky, sipping champagne.

Mirror Ball, on the other hand, doesn’t sound like my bag at all.. Dark Incense, shadowy woods, spiced hyacinth and night blooming jasmine – it all sounds a little on the heady side to me. Brussels Sprouts is clean and green (and no, don’t worry, it doesn’t smell of Brussel sprouts); it’s more of a wet, cedar and fresh earth kind of smell. Debonair Eau Dandy is a blend of lemon, neroli, rose, jasmine, lavender, sandalwood, oakmoss and musk – blimey – however debonair or dandy you’re feeling this sounds somewhat overpowering – you’ll certainly get noticed! There are one or two names that stretch a point.. not sure how I’m feeling about smelling like The Walk of Shame or Miss Panda Gets Lei’d. How about Mr Panda Gets Turned Down Flat.

Smell Bent Fragrances have launched at Roullier White HERE.
