New launches from Sleek MakeUP are always highly anticipated – great value and high impact with an emphasis on make up for all skin tones which is something we always need more of in the UK.

The new i-Quads launch in March. In each palette is a darker base shade, and two lighter shades for contrast, along with a cream liner (there’s a little liner brush inside the palette too). I know people are divided about creams and powders in the same palette, but so far, it hasn’t proved to be an issue with powder getting caught in cream.

First up, the limited edition Midnight Blues palette with a mix of sparkle, sheen and metallic (the blue shade is a demi-matte).

Next is the new Medusa’s Kiss (my favourite) palette – the deeper black shade is matte and as you can see, needs a little working in – it doesn’t come out as evenly as I’d like it to, but mattes often do need a bit of extra effort. There’s a silver metallic and an ‘icy’ topcoat for a shimmer wash, and also a cream black liner.

My least favourite of the three new Sleek i-Quads – Moroccan Myth. It’s more of a neutral palette but to me, there are too many red tones in the brown cream liner and the colours just don’t have the same impact. However, it’s the safe option and you will still get a beautiful ‘naked’ eye from this.

Pigment is great across the board, other than the mattes which, as stated, need more effort, but the palettes are really a bargain at £5.99 each so add them to your spring shopping list.
