Well, I didn’t spot this one coming – the Sleek MakeUP Superdrug Anniversary Palette. I’m not sure whether I am more surprised at the appearance of this or that Superdrug is 50! From what I can tell, Showstoppers has been out before on a limited edition.. if you missed Showstoppers the first time around, now’s your chance.

As with all Sleek MakeUP palettes, there are a lot of looks that can be created.

The top row focusses more on a metallic sheen in the colours; from left to right are: Paraguaya, Sunset, Me Myself & Eye, Bad Girl, Noir and Ultramattes V2 (which is matte).

Row two is less sheeny – the first colour, a pale grey is a bit disappointing in terms of payoff. From left to right: Oh So Special, Bohemian, Storm, Sparkle, Au Natural and Graphite. The Sleek MakeUP Superdrug Anniversary Palette launches on 9th April for £7.99. In fact, Superdrug are planning several limited editions with beauty brands so keep your eyes peeled for birthday newness.

    Looking forward to seeing who else they collaborate with for their birthday! This is really pretty, I’m a big fan of Sleek palettes. And it’s just clicked with me that the shade names are named after the other Sleek palettes!

    I was really excited when I read the title of this post, but I’ve got to admit I’m not taken with the palette (and really disappointed too!). Usually I love Sleek palettes so much, but this isn’t hitting the spot at all! x

    I love Sleek palettes – I think the shadows have great pigment and last well and I love the look of
    the olive/gold colour on the top row. Worth £7.99 itself! Another one to add to my Sleek stash!

    I’m not sure about this one. The first row appeals to me a lot more than the second – I’m not sure I’d get much use out of those. Shame 🙁 xx
