Sleek MakeUP Control Shine & Prime made its debut into stores last week. We’re all used to the silicone feel of oil control primers, but this one is a little different texturally, in that it’s thicker than any other I’ve come across. However, I think that gives you more of an element of control, especially over the nose which is where I tested it out.

I used a foundation (YSL Fusion Ink) over the top and Sleek MakeUP Control Shine & Prime instantly knocked out any shine, and while the formula is thick, it doesn’t feel so on the skin – in fact, it’s surprisingly light. However, I would caution that my skin is not over-oily and I’m not sure I’d want this all over my face, but rather to use as a patch product on areas that are specifically greasy and prone to shine.
Sleek MakeUP Control Shine & Prime is £7.99 HERE.

Oh I love Sleek and I love primers – looks like this will be the next one for me to try!

I have an oily skin and I was waiting for this review of the Sleek primer. I can’t wait to test it out.
