Sleek MakeUp Bronze Block

Sleek MakeUP Bronze Block launch in April – right on time for some sunny weather I hope. I love the way that Sleek has done these – and in particular, that it’s a sheen formula rather than a shimmer. The colour pay-off is very good. I opted to use the light shade and that’s plenty for my olive skin tone.

Each Sleek MakeUp Bronze Block has four differing shades within the palette, and because Sleek make for all skin tones, the darker shade (shown above) is ample for black or deep skin tones. There is a third, medium toned, block which I don’t have but I would strongly advise that you go down a tone when picking out your colour because they are quite full-on. I guess you can go lightly with the brush – I used a kabuki and picked up the same as I would my Liz Earle bronzer, and got way more pigment than I was expecting. So, top tip – go light!

I don’t yet have price points for the blocks, but Sleek is usually very reasonable so I wouldn’t expect a fright!

Similar look/idea to guerlain 4 seasons

They look yummy, the light one is gorgeous, but tempted to get the other 2 as well and use them as eyeshadows. Any idea of how big these palettes are comparing to the Lip 4 palettes?

Ooh!! I’m definitely giving this a go! I really struggle with bronzers, I don’t like the shimmer/glitter look, I just like a very gentle sun kissed glow. I quite like Bourjois and The Body Shop’s bronzers. I wish more make up brands would keep in my mind that that shimmer and glitter doesn’t suit everyone.

Yea i am agreed with Louise, i also don’t like glitter look. i would love to use the pink one as eye shadows or perhaps i would use the darker one too..

  7. Although they do look fun I don’t feel I would ever use this.
