I’ve seen spot stickers before but the Skyn Iceland Blemish Dots have proved their effectiveness because I made my son go to bed with them stuck to his face to see what would happen to his zits.
Without getting into too much of a gory explanation, one spot was active – red, angry and on the cusp of turning into an eruptor while the other was on the way out but still inflamed with redness. There’s really not a great deal to elaborate on because the results were extremely clear – both spots had significantly reduced redness and the potential eruptor had lost its swelling completely. Basically put, the Skyn Iceland Blemish Dots are flexible, clear patches infused with salicylic acid, tea tree, willowherb and even volcanic ash that you stick to your skin overnight when you feel or see a pimple threatening. Although they’re completely clear and therefore very discrete, you can still see a little bit of the film so you might not want to use during the day, but if needs must, you could get away with it. My son said he could feel the stickers on his face despite the flexibility of them but they weren’t uncomfortable – he was just aware they were there.
I’m lucky that I very rarely get a break-out, but I can see that the Blemish Dots are worth their weight in gold for the quick action. They’re not a cure for big breakouts and if you have acne, see your doctor; Blemish Dots are more for occaisonal inconvenient break outs and deserve their place in your SOS beauty stash. You get four sealed sachets, each with 12 dots for £17.50 and they’re in M&S from 23rd March.
