Sisley Phyto Lip Star

You know when you find something that you instantly know you can just use and use..? Even though I’m not a huge fan of sparkle, the exception is Sisley, whose mineral pearl particles take it into a whole other league. Phyto Lip Star in White Diamond is one of those make-up bag staples that will come in handy all year round. Although Phyto Lip Star is available in several shades, this clear but ultra-ultra shimmery gloss is the one that stands out. You could use it over a lip tint to to just add instant brilliance, alone with dark, dark smoky eyes or even just to add a glistening topcoat to lipstick. I love the versatility of this and the fact that Sisley glosses are notoriously hydrating and give a smoothing effect on the lips. At £29.50 it is at the very limit of what I’d be prepared to spend, but for a sticky-free texture and the variety of uses I’d say it’s a treat worth the splash.
