One of my eagle-eye’d readers spotted that the face mask machine that I said was in development is actually now a thing! I have to say that Google Translate is not helping me much, but from what I can gather, you whizz up your fruits or vegetables and then add a capsule of collagen to bring the whole thing into a ‘rubberized’ texture. The drawer at the bottom is the shape of a sheet mask.
I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see these at beauty launches going forward… there’s something quite intriguing about making a smoothie into the shape of a face. I know you could just smear your face without going to the effort of the collagen to coagulate it seems a whole lot less messy to bring it into some kind of solid form. I wonder how long it will take for a UK version to appear.
