[unpaid/sample] I’m thinking of this Pucci-esq, recycled fabric hair wrap as a better alternative to a hair band rather than a post-shower drip-stopper. There are a number of ways you can utilise it but it cannot be just me that always, no matter how many strands I’ve tucked behind the band, gets a bit of face mask in my hair. What I like is that the wrap gets everything tucked away without then ruffling your do because it’s friction free.

You can, of course, use it as a damage minimising, after-shower wrap though it’s not as absorbent as a towel. Its far less cumbersome and dries very quickly which is handy if you take it to the gym (and maybe stylish enough to take you home to dry your hair although personally I’m not brave enough!). I guess the hair wrap is not an essential because we can make do with other things, but rather a useful extra.

There is some absorbency of course because it’s a suede-like microfibre – it’s not on a level with towelling but then it’s not supposed to be. The Silky Locks Hair Wrap is much more portable and lightweight so whether this is for you or not will really depend upon your lifestyle and whether your hair is prone to breakage and needs special attention.
