Senti Orchid Room Fragrancer

Senti Orchid Room Fragrancer

[productsample] I have never got along with reed diffusers – I would choose a candle one hundred times before I’d choose some sticks in a jar. But who knew that room fragrancing had got so fancy? The Senti Orchid Room Fragrancer is an eye opener, that’s for sure.

An Italian glass vase (with a wide base so that it doesn’t easily knock – I’m thinking more about cats than humans) houses an artificial orchid that allows the fragrance to diffuse out into which ever room you choose to put it in. Speaking of rooms for it to go in – to me, it feels like it’s something for a large room rather than a small one. Not only is the fragrance out-put beyond generous, it’s just quite a big thing one way and another. I immediately thought of a large, wide hall-way so that you’re greeted with scent and beauty when you get home.

The orchid itself leaves no detail out – the petals look so delicate – and the fragrancer as a whole looks very striking. Definitely not a fragrance wallflower! Picking out the right fragrance for this investment piece (it’s £150 and refills are £55) is important – my sample is ‘White Flowers’ which is a very pretty, lightly green floral with some sweet edges, but once you have the orchid in place, you can change your fragrance about by buying a different refill bottle.

I can really see The Orchid has a place as an aesthetically pleasing alternative to sticks in a jar – it possibly has a bit too much presence especially if you have small rooms. One of Senti’s outlets is Harrods which feels like exactly the right market for it. If you’d like to see more, including the fragrance selection, head HERE.
