I’ve raved before about Sensichic candles and have known the f0under, Patrizia, for years as she is a former PR. If ever you can match a candle to a book, this really is the pairing made in heaven. Lan Nguyen-Grealis is an ultra-creative make up artist (I’ve already reviewed her book) with an eye for detail and a fondness for rich and sumptuous imagery. Patrizia’s Cerise Noir candle is that very thing, in a fragrance.
Cerise Noir is a deep, sweet and dark candle – black forest gateau with a twist – it’s all cherries in syrup with a backdrop of vetivert, frankinsense and amber and a perfect companion for cosy nights in by the fireside (and a good bottle of red).
