Okay, well I don’t know a great deal about this fragrance but what I can tell you is that these perfumes are from the project, Science For Peace, a foundation that looks at scientific solutions for peace (yes, there are no fewer than six Nobel prize holders promoting the organisation) and provides scholarships to scientific researchers and doctors. There are four fragrances, all based on world winds and they are the most beautiful of bottles, heavy and cool as a pebble in the hand, with a sculpted dove for the stopper. Despite the very intellectual origins, the bottle displays the simplest of messages with the dove. I had a spritz of Sharky, representing the eastern wind of Morocco – floral and figgy with a warm dry down. They’ll be available at www.averyfineperfumeries.com but not sure when.
