Actress, Salma Hayek, has launched a line of colour cosmetics Stateside called Nuance. The thing that seems to be causing a stir in beauty circles is that she has chosen to make it a mass (i.e. affordable) range instead of diving straight into the premium market. It will be sold in CVS stores (nearest UK equivalent is Boots) and the range is inspired by her cosmetologist grandmother. It’s estimated that Nuance could make $35 million in first year sales. It looks cute and Selma is stunning, so I will buy some pieces when I head to the states.
It’s WWD.com, no? Also, don’t you think the cute packaging of the mascara and lipgloss looks vaguely Rouge Bunny Rouge? (enjoy the blog, btw)
Interesting!!! I like the look of the eyeshadow thing ha.
Cripes! Thats one I didn’t see coming, a Salma Hayek makeup range!? The packaging is quite interesting..
Not really a fan of hers but the make-up looks appealing :).
Very interesting packaging!
I purchased three Nuance lipsticks; My Favorite (that’s the name, not my judgement of it) is a balm feeling rosy pink. Coral and Dusty Rose feel like more traditional lipsticks and I’m not a super fan of either, but I do like My Favorite.
