Rouge Bunny Rouge Nocturnal Ink

Decent deep blue ink liners are hard to come by – this Nocturnal Ink Satin Liner in Blue Roan from Rouge Bunny Rouge is a proper deep blue and not clouded by too-black undertones . If you haven’t tried the dot-between-the-lashes method with ink liners, it gives the best possible lash line – I’m sure there will be loads of YT tutorials on how to do it properly but you do need a steady hand and some patience.

The two eye shades that came with it are Rain Dove (golden) and Rufous-Tailed Weaver. They’re super-super soft and high pigment – if you don’t know this brand, I’d start on the eye shades.

The Satin Liner is HERE for £23 and the shadows are HERE although these two particular shades haven’t yet launched at the time of writing. However, Abysinnian Catbird took the blog world by storm when it first launched. The fact that it’s always low stock means that it’s still going strong! They’re £21.

  1. I have the same eyeshadows myself (just got them last week) and I really love their texture and I was thinking to post a quick natural makeup look using them. I tested the eyeliner yesterday, it’s pretty easy to work with even for a noob like me (at least when it comes to eyeliner). I have the eyeliner in black but compared to others it doesn’t look like a deep true black and it kind of start to fade away after 10 hours. I also tried the Senna eyeliner which is less the price of RBR and it’s so much more pigmented and long lasting. Nonetheless RBR does make so really good products. 🙂

  2. ahhh the eyeshadows are so pretty xx

  3. They’re gorgeous colours! Look lovely. Would defo like to get my hands on some!
