Rouge Bunny Rouge Captured Mist of Serenity Cleansing Water

I was recently sent a sample of this beautiful cleansing water. It is a Micellar water which means oil in water. The oil is undetectable and leaves no trace of grease – it just feels as though you are cleaning your skin with very gentle feeling water, but your complexion feels none of the tightness that water can leave and stays soft and supple. And, there is no rinsing necessary. This one from RBR is gorgeous – and so it should be at £44 (which is really a lot for quite a small product) – and contains Cornflower water to calm away any skin stresses. It’s paraben, fragrance, alcohol and soap free so ideal for sensitive skin and has a very mild botanical smell. I’m torn about recommending it though; there are a lot of Micellar waters on the market now and it’s my prefered method of cleansing. It just seems an awful lot of money when there are equally good Micellars for far less (not least my favourite one of all, Bioderma, for £14). It’s at www.zuneta.com.

  1. Gulp. That is an awful lot for a micellar water. I don’t think I could justify spending that much when, as you say, there are so many perfectly lovely variations for far less. x

  2. I think more & more companies are using the ‘paraben free’ tagline to hooer up the price :/

  3. its a lot of money to be spending on water i guess. I need to get some Bioderma. If only i lived in France as its so much cheaper there. 🙁

If the product really has captured serenity and will guarantee misting over me then I don’t care how much it costs! Jan x
