Small size hand creams are very useful (was going to say handy… ) especially for tucking into your handbag, and Roget & Gallet is a favourite brand of mine for being far more premium than its price might suggest. They’re creamy but sink in quickly and do a proper job of hydrating the skin.
Three scents; rose, bois d’orange and fleur d’osmathus are all delicious – just the right side of perfumed without overpowering and I find all these bright colours a fabulous foil to all the grey gloom of a London winter. Hurry up, spring! Anyway, I’ve just spotted them on Marks & Spencer, greatly reduced from £18.50 to £7.95 which is ridiculously cheap – stock up because these are gifts that will do for anyone, any time of year.
