I’ve only got a few pieces of the RMK Fall 2012 to swatch but they are more than enough to get an overview. I really, really love the presentation of the eye-shadows; they’re so pretty. The darker shade is far more pigmented than the light which is almost more of a highlight shade than a colour. In this one, Iridescent Deep Red, the brown shade has a myriad of bronze, gold and pink shimmer but comes out quite dark on the skin; the pink inner section is like fairy-dust! Iridescent, pale pink and twinkling, giving the lightest colour on the lid. The colours are much richer than they appear in the pictures here.

The Ingenious Cheek Powder in Pale Pink will suit the palest of tones – it’s so light but gives a hint of good cheek!

The lipstick is gloriously glossy and sheer – I’d be tempted to use it as a cheek gloss actually… this shade is Translucent Shiny Pink which just about sums it up.

The entire RMK ranges stays very close to its Japanese roots, keeping things light and sheer.. it is very pretty indeed with nuance at its core. If you love your make-up subtle and enhancing for a natural look, it’s spot on.
