I genuinely like these for the simple fact that they’re not too bright. I’m seeing a lot of lip product right now that is uber-bright and that’s not a look for everyone. Much as I am wowed by ultra brights, I wouldn’t necessarily wear them myself, but with the Rimmel Colour Rush I would.
They’re just all really easy shades to wear – you can build intensity to a certain degree but if you literally just want a quick impression of colour, they’re excellent. Good value, too at £5.99.
They have a little sheen to them as well which is more evident in this picture (the reason I have shadow crossing is because if I’m not quick enough in the morning when the sun is high, I have so many trees in my garden there is not one place of pure light inside the house, instead just dappling.. which I love as a living arrangement – not so much from a photo point of view!).
