I’ve got to say I am totally charmed by these Revlon Perfumerie Nail Enamels. Luckily, a friend brought me some back from the US (without me even asking – she just knew, so that IS a good friend, right?) and I’ve had my first chance to have a play with them.

The shades are China Flower (red) and Wild Violet (shimmery purple). Of the two, scent-wise, Wild Violet is an absolute hit, smelling like Parma Violets (love the smell, hate the taste) and the scent has lasted pretty much all day. China Flower is a generic floral smell – and I get the Febreeze connection that I saw on a US blog – I’d go more the fabric conditioner route, but hasn’t lasted quite as long as Wild Violet. The colours are sensational.. I love them both, I love the bottles and all in all I am totally hooked. I’ve got some more coming from the US as well and I’m genuinely excited to get them.

Scented polishes are nothing new, but I think when they launch in the UK you will be pleasantly surprised by the scents. Although I must admit, sniffing your own fingers or even offering to let others smell them (as I have done a lot today) is, er, odd.
