Revlon Parfumerie Nail Enamel Swatches

I’ve got a couple more of the Revlon Parfumerie Scented Nail Enamels that have already launched in the US but won’t be with us for a while (I think early 2014). The Indulgent Collection is a duo containing Spun Sugar and Bordeaux.

Bordeaux is a gorgeous, glossy red with pink tones and the scent is kind of fruity I think I could say – like Ribena.

Spun Sugar is a lovely pale gold metallic but the metallic element gets in the way of the fragrance – it’s like chemical candy floss. Weird! While it’s a brilliant novelty that the fragrances are scented, you are unlikely to get even a whiff unless you are actually sniffing your fingers.. which, let’s face it is just going to look odd. So, the focus probably has to be on the colours and so far, they’re all impressive in pigment and easy in application – you can’t ask for more in a nail polish, really. Oh, and the bottles, which are the loveliest I’ve ever seen for nail polish.

  1. Glad they might be coming here, some of those shades look stunning – like Autumn Spice and Italian Leather.

  2. I love the look of the bottles – not so fussed about it actually smelling though… x

Fun idea, and I do like the Bordeaux shade. But does the added scent affect the durability of the polish?
