[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] As well as lip liners, there is also a sudden slew of tinted serums. I immediately liked the Revlon Illuminance Serum Tint – it’s the right runny consistency that I like, it has exactly the right tone match for me and it feels weightless on the skin.
Illuminance Serum Tint promises to boost skin’s radiance, even skin tone and reduce darks spots over time. Now, I think that’s a stretch any which way you look at it but I’m not relying on my make up for skin care so it doesn’t really matter to me one way or another. However, you can tell that there are skin care ingredients in it just from the natural way it blends and feels on the skin. Hyaluronic acid, vitamin E and vitamin C are the key players but I think this tint’s biggest asset is its long last and easy blend.
I feel very happy with the coverage level which is actually higher than I thought it would be – it gives skin a naturally polished look, I think. The feel is weightless and the finish gives a fresh, bouncy skin look with lightfulness and energy without being dewy. I’d wear this day to day with no second thoughts because, while it doesn’t look all that exciting in the tube, I feel it’s a please all, affordable product that is punching above its weight. There’s a nominal SPF15 in the mix but all in all, for £14.99 HERE, I think this is a win. The only negative I could suggest are the on-line colour charts are dreadful and you can’t easily guess your shade from the tubes.
From bottom to top: 301 (Cool Beige) which is what I’m wearing – it’s a neutral shade that you could wear with cool or warm undertones if the match is correct, 209 (Buff Beige), a cooler, light shade for fairer complexions and 213 (Light Natural) which I could also wear and possibly will when my tone is less warm than it is.
