Inexplicably, I’ve got a little bit more into hair recently – I’m actually enjoying trying new products. I used Redken Pillow Proof Hair Primer lastnight when I really was in a rush to get somewhere – anything that shaves even a fraction of time off a blow dry is a handy thing in these circumstances, so I gave it a go.
Redken Pillow Proof Hair Primer claims to shorten the length of your blow dry while giving heat protection – this makes perfect sense – if you rush a blow dry then chances are that you have your dryer on the ‘boil’ setting anyway so heat protection is even more important.
I hate having ‘stuff’ in my hair – I just don’t like the feeling and the brittle look it can give. While I can say that I think my dry was quicker, I definitely lost on shine but my goodness – the volume! And, the blow dry stayed good all evening without any of the volume dropping. I’m not generally interested in volumising, but this didn’t send my hair into bouffy territory, just gave it a bit of body that lasted. Pillow Proof isn’t really the right name for it because to me it implies that your hair might stay perfect while you sleep – it didn’t! But, this is certainly a keeper.
It’s £11.85 HERE which is on offer.. usual price is £15.80.

This is one product I cannot live without actually, i’m on my fifth bottle. It cuts down blow dry time by about ten minutes for me, although other benefits, i’m not sure about, but frankly, thats enough, as I find drying insanely boring! I agree though, the name is misleading, nothing pillow proof about this or the dry shampoo of the same name
oooo I like the thought of this , I always use heat protectors on my hair and am always putting on hair masks, since I dyed my hair I feel like I have to say I am sorry haha . Great post xox
