Well, this is a tidy little find. I’ve had crinkly lips all my life – that’s kind of just how they are and it doesn’t make any difference if I drink a bucket of water or no water at all.. they’re just a bit crinkly. I use Lanolips balm every day so they’re always well hydrated and that does give them a smoother look, but I’ve never had anything that smooths as much as the Rajeunir Lip Serum above. It’s one of those double-take products that you can’t quite believe works as well as it does. Or maybe it was the element of surprise because I wasn’t expecting it.

Either way, it is silicone based and the nearest thing I can compare it to is Benefit Porefessional but for lips. I’m not sure if it’s doing a lip filler thing or what, but it has certainly worked for me. Rajeunir Lip Serum is billed as a regular moisturiser – the blurb doesn’t mention the smoothing effect and yet it’s a better smoother than it is a moisturiser. It slightly mattifies the lip so anything that goes over the top does so in a velvety way so lipstick looks much better with a base of the serum than without.
So, it’s a surprise crinkle cracker that I’m very pleased to have discovered. It’s very reasonable too, at £12 HERE.

I never heard of lip serum before. Maybe it a great invention for my cracked lips. Great post tho.

Do you need to reapply every time you apply lipstick?? What about feathered lines outside the lips?? My mum would adore this if it works on the outside if lipline too
no, I wouldn’t say it works especially well on the outside of the lip.
Oooh I will be getting this on pay day! I’m 33 and have never smoked but have crinkly lips! Will try this 🙂
