Ragdale Hall Spa Warming Sugar Polish

I know that parts of the country are deluged by snow today, so it seems a good time to flag up this self-heating Ragdale Hall Spa Warming Sugar Polish. It’s a funny one really, because while there absolutely is a heat element, you (obviously) get warm hands too while you apply, so while it’s meant for the body I’d flag it as a hand warmer!

There’s absolutely no reason that you can’t use it as a lovely, warming hand scrub. The scent is cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg, but thankfully, it misses that ‘Christmassy’ smell and just gives a floral/spice fragrance instead. In fact, if you are like me and have woefully chilly hands then this will be absolute bliss for them I think.

As well as sugar to deal with exfoliating, there are also walnut pieces so it’s quite a strong scrub. Personally, I like that, but I’d avoid on any part of the body if you have sensitive or fragile skin. It’s £8.50 HERE. One slight negative – I couldn’t get the lid properly closed again – I think the little ‘bits’ are getting in the way.

I prefer it when scrubs feel like scrubs, nothing worse than one that doesn’t exfoliate the skin properly!
