I didn’t really buy into the initial concept when I first heard about this, but actually I think QVC might really be onto something here. Facewalk is the catwalk concept usually used for fashion, but instead of clothes on the catwalk, the focus was on make up. To be honest, with the way that the beauty industry is burgeoning with no signs of slowing down, I can see a time when beauty brands might well host catwalk shows to display make up looks and where the clothes are just accessorising the cosmetic look rather than the other way round.
It’s an interesting concept and I think we’ll see a lot more of it.

I like this idea a lot. I’d love to see a make up range demo’d like this on a wide range of women. And by that I mean various ages and ethnicities.

I actually like the idea, because it means no photoshopping!
I’m definitely keen on this concept; fashion shows don’t appeal to me at all (because I have so little interest in fashion) so the idea of something aimed at beauty lovers will definitely get me interested xx
