Phytosurgence Spirited Seedling Review

[purchase] Vibrant creme shadows are like catnip to me – I absolutely love a creamy, sheeny eye look. Usually, I add a primer underneath because, depending upon how oily your lids are, they can quite easily shift or wear down during the day. I haven’t used a primer here because as usual – rush, rush, rush. I’m off to Sweden to see Max at the end of the week so I have a lot to get done before then.

Spirited Seedling Flash Florescence Cream Eyeshadow is part of the Mystic Meadows collection. If you’ve seen my past posts on this brand, you’ll know that currently, they’re only available to Canada and the US so if you have any friends or relatives in either of those countries, that’s how to get hold of them. Luckily, my friend Linda came over from the US so as soon as I heard she was coming, I put my order in!

Spirited Seedling is a kind of gilded moss shade – a deep, vegetal green with golden accents that will sit nicely over any colour eye. I used a brush to apply (badly, in this case!) because the formula is so creamy it’s easier to just round over the lid with a small eye brush than it is to apply with a finger tip although in an emergency, a finger tip is fine.

It’s really a very ‘me’ colour – I’m not wearing mascara in this shot (but have suddenly noticed my recycling bin needs emptying rather urgently!) so I’ve lined using a finer brush under my bottom lashes with the same colour. There are six shades in the Mystic Meadows collection, the brand’s newest offering and they’re $21 each…however, they’re all out of stock just now which on the one hand, I’m very pleased to hear because for an indi brand, that’s excellent news, but on the other, not so happy you can’t immediately bombard your Canadian and US friends with orders. Phytosurgence is HERE.
