Philosophy fragrances are really under-rated in my view – what you get are very wearable perfumes that won’t assault your (or anyone else’s) senses, but instead settle onto your skin for unobtrusive and distinctly gentle scents. Don’t get me wrong – they don’t disappear to nothing, but they’re the kind of fragrances that you can live with very happily on your body quickly becoming a part of you if you see what I mean.
Pure Grace is my favourite – a soap-clean scent that if I was Minister of Scent I’d have sprayed all over London – the tube, the buses and the pavements for a happier, calmer city! Anyway, all this meandering is just by way of a head’s up that there’s a new Philosophy fragrance on its way – Field of Flowers Gardenia Blossom, £32, on a John Lewis exclusive from 22nd January.

Such a pretty bottle!
I love floral scents, and a perfume that isn’t too strong. Some people drown themselves in scent, and I don’t think it’s nice at all. I really love the look of this one, looks like a fresh clean scent. Oh, to have smell-o-vision 🙂
Love Vicky

Pure Grace is my favourite too! Such a lovely clean, fresh smell & it lingers really well when I spray it on my clothes. I tried the other Grace’s & Pure Grace is the best IMO.
I managed to get quite a few shower gels in the sales too, love Philosophy 😀
